Past Winner Spotlight: Michael Sirianni’s 2009 Ford FPV F6 Ute
Michael Sirianni from New South Wales is now the proud owner of this absolute powerhouse, a 2009 Ford FPV F6 Ute, valued at $50,000. It’s a tough street and strip package that doesn’t just look the part, it has the power to match.
Dressed up with an XR8 bonnet, a ute hard lid cover, and Boss 335 staggered wheels, this F6 Ute has the perfect tough stance and all the visual appeal of a true street machine.
But it’s under the bonnet where things get really serious. Making a hefty 750 horsepower on E85, the engine features Crow valve springs, Atomic oil pump gears and timing chain guides, 1200cc injectors, and ARP head studs to keep it all together under pressure. Boost is handled by a 3582 Pulsar turbo and a 50mm external wastegate, with a Stage 2 Process West intercooler and a 4 inch Antz intake to feed it all.
Exhaust gases are managed by a 4 inch Hurricane dump pipe and a 3.5 inch X-Force exhaust, while a 520 fuel pump with a wiring upgrade ensures there’s always enough fuel on tap. The battery has been relocated with an Antz kit for a cleaner engine bay.
It’s all controlled by PCM Tec with four tune settings (two for 98 octane and two for E85), with the flex tune dialled in and perfected by Empire Performance in Sydney. All that power is put to the ground through a worked ZF auto and a Truetrac diff, giving Michael the ultimate balance of street and strip performance.
Michael’s FPV F6 Ute is a perfect example of modern Aussie muscle, tough, refined, and packing a serious punch. Congratulations to Michael Sirianni, another past winner who’s now rolling in this beastly street machine!
