Mitchell Mcintosh, a Tuff Streeters member from New South Wales, took home one of our most iconic giveaways to date, a Genuine HK GTS valued at $250,000!
There are builds… and then there are icons reborn. Originally packing a 186S, this HK GTS has been transformed into a 620HP full throttle street monster.
Under the bonnet? A 6.2L LS3, built to hammer. With a Comp camshaft, Higgins CNC ported heads with matching two piece intake manifold, and a snarling APD carburetor feeding the beast, this isn’t your average LS swap, It’s a no compromise, purpose built weapon. Backed by a Full manual Turbo 350 with transbrake, and a tough SDE high stall converter to launch it like a rocket.
Out back, a mini tubbed rear by Hellbent Fabrications houses a shortened 9 inch with 31 spline axles, 3.5 gears, and a Truetrac centre, putting power down hard through 255/60 Pro Street radials wrapped on 15×8” Weld wheels. Up front, 17” Welds and Wilwood brakes ensure it stops as hard as it hauls.
Inside? A true show car feel with a retrimmed interior in Goya Red by InStyle Custom Trims, perfectly blending retro flair with modern craftsmanship, while the body coloured engine bay, thanks to SNS Smash Repairs, ties it all together.
Built by the team at TJH Performance, this HK GTS wasn’t just a restoration, it was a resurrection.
