Andrew Sevels from Victoria has taken home this absolute weapon, a CV8 LS1 Turbo Monaro pushing a stout 470 rear wheel kilowatts, built to be the ultimate street cruiser with a serious punch.
Under the bonnet is an LS1 turbo setup featuring a T56 6 speed manual gearbox for that perfect driver feel. It’s kitted out with a BTR LS turbo cam kit, Delphi LS7 lifters, and secured with ARP head studs, cam bolts and crank bolt.
Feeding the beast is a Fab Room turbo kit built around a Precision 68/70 turbo and a Turbosmart 50mm wastegate with an external screamer pipe. The whole kit has been ceramic heat coated to keep it looking clean and running cool.
Fuel delivery is no problem, with an undercar surge tank and Bosch 200lph fuel pumps ensuring it’s always ready to roll.
It’s slammed on King Springs and rolling on staggered 20 inch Walky wheels, giving it that perfect stance. Inside, there’s a custom Coulsons interior with diamond stitch tan leather that’s as stylish as it is comfortable.
Boost control is handled by an eBoost controller, keeping the power in check. And that power? It’s making 450rwkw on 11psi and E85, and cranking out 470rwkw on 15psi and E85 when it’s time to turn things up.
