Tuff Streeters gathered at Calder Park Raceway on April 14th to host what many described as one of the best car shows in a long time, featuring Melbourne’s toughest street cars and drag cars.

The turnout was extraordinary, with cars arriving well before the scheduled bump-in times and enthusiasts driving from all corners of Victoria. The quality of cars was exceptional, showcasing newly finished builds alongside well-known classics hitting the road again. All styles of drag cars and even top 60-worthy street-driven vehicles graced the show ‘n shine. After the event, feedback poured in from attendees, with many eager for the next event and others experiencing FOMO from not being there.

For those who missed out on the action at Calder Park, the VIP Show ‘n Shine kicked off before 10 am, with well over 5000 people and 600+ cars flooding through the gates until as late as 1 pm. There was something for everyone, from tough old-school classics and modern muscle to immaculate European and JDM vehicles. The event showcased a diverse range of motors and unreal engine conversions, from high-power 4-cylinder cars to twin-turbo V10s and over a dozen rotaries. Families found entertainment in drag car startups and the amusement section, keeping kids occupied throughout the day.

The vibe was electric, and we were blown away by the turnout, so we extend our gratitude to the Melbourne car scene for turning up and raising the bar! While we’re already working on our next Show ‘n’ Shine, which will be a twilight event, we’ll keep the details under wraps for now. Keep an eye on our social media for the announcement of our next event, where we’ll once again bring together the best of the Melbourne car scene.
