Rolling drag Racing
Rolling Drags will take place monthly at Calder Park Raceway. We’ve designed the Shoot Out to give you as much track time as possible with strict number limits to make sure you get value for money as an entrant. Once you finish a race you can roll right back around and line up against another driver for a continuous adrenaline rush.
Never taken part in Rolling Drag Racing before? It’s basically drag racing but from a rolling start. Two drivers are placed side-by-side and reach roughly 40km/ph before they hit the start line and then race to see who is the fastest to cross the finish line 250m down a straight track.
Rolling Drags is most suited to high-end street cars rather than drag cars due to tyre size, diff gearing and engine configuration. That said, there are no restrictions or limitations on car types – this is an opportunity for anyone to get behind the wheel and push their car to the limit.
So how does it work? The fastest car wins. It’s that simple. The top 10 fastest cars competing in the event will battle it out through elimination rounds to determine an overall Rolling Drag Racing Champion.

Fuelled Up is a festival of racing, drifting, food, music, burning rubber and the sweet sound of engines bouncing off the limiter. Essentially, everything you could hope for in an automotive event!
Family friendly and full of non-stop action, Fuelled Up is held at premier motorsport venues all across Australia. It’s a little bit of everything with the aim to provide a variety of activities to tick everybody’s boxes.
